Web Design Roscommon

Websites that look great, load fast, and actually grow your business. Built by a local person who understands what Irish businesses need.

✓ Mobile-first design ✓ SEO included ✓ No agency fees ✓ Sites from €349 ✓ Budgets welcome
How much does a website cost in Ireland?

A simple one-to-four page website costs from €349, a five-to-ten page business site from €699, and an online shop from €1,299. Irish agencies typically charge €1,500–€3,000 for a starter site. If you're building on a subscription platform such as an online shop or booking system, a Local Enterprise Office Grow Digital Voucher can pay half of it.

How your site is built

Two ways to build. Both fully yours.

Most Irish small businesses are sold the same WordPress setup whether it suits them or not. There's a faster, cheaper option that suits a lot of them better — you'll be told honestly which one fits.

Static build — fast and lean

  • Hand-built, no page-builder bloat, no plugin sprawl
  • Loads almost instantly, even on rural broadband
  • Nothing to break, so nothing to patch every month
  • Far harder to hack — there's no admin login to attack
  • Cheaper to host and cheaper to run, year after year
  • Best for brochure sites, service businesses, landing pages

Managed CMS — you edit it yourself

  • WordPress or a custom dashboard, whichever suits
  • Add pages, posts, products or listings yourself
  • Staff dashboards built to match how you actually work
  • Right choice when content changes weekly
  • Includes training and written instructions
  • Best for shops, listings, news, anything updated often

Fully customised, never a template

Your site is built around your business — your services, your words, your customers' questions. Nothing is dropped into a stock theme and recoloured.

Any feature you actually need

Online booking, quote calculators, member areas, property or product listings, multi-language, live chat, payments — built in properly rather than bolted on as another plugin.

We can work to a budget

Tell me the number you have. You'll get an honest answer about what's achievable for it, and a sensible plan to add the rest later — rather than a quote designed to make you go away.

Grant funding: the Trading Online Voucher has closed. Its replacement, the Grow Digital Voucher, pays 50% (up to €5,000) towards subscription platforms like online shops, booking and CRM systems and their setup, but not custom-built websites. See what qualifies.
Working to a tight budget? Say so from the start. A lean static site can go live for a fraction of a full build, and it can grow into the bigger version later without starting again. Nobody gets talked into more than they need.

What people ask before starting a website

A simple one-to-four page site starts at €349, a five-to-ten page business site at €699, and an online shop at €1,299. Irish freelancers typically quote €800–€2,500 for the simple version and agencies €1,500–€3,000 for a starter site, so you are paying one person's time rather than an agency's overhead. Every project is quoted in writing before anything starts, and you can sanity-check the range yourself with the website cost calculator.
Sometimes. The Trading Online Voucher has closed. Its replacement, the Grow Digital Voucher, pays half the cost of off-the-shelf subscription software (online shops, booking, CRM, accounting) and the setup and training around it, up to €5,000. You must first do a Digital for Business project with your Local Enterprise Office, and apply before spending anything. It does not cover custom-built websites. If your project fits, I'll write the quote your LEO needs. See the grants guide.
A simple site is usually two to three weeks, a business site four to six, a shop six to ten. The part that decides it is almost never the code — it is how quickly the text and photos come back. If you have those ready, it moves fast. If you don't, I can write the copy for €60–€100 a page rather than let the project stall for a month.
Yes, completely. The domain stays in your name, the hosting account is yours, and you get the files. There is no licence you have to keep paying and nothing that stops working if you leave. Plenty of people come to me precisely because a previous developer disappeared and took the keys with them, and I'd rather not be that story for anyone else.
If you will be editing pages yourself every week, WordPress earns its keep. If the site is mostly a shopfront that changes a few times a year, a hand-built static site is faster, cheaper to host, far harder to hack and scores better on Google's speed metrics. I'll tell you honestly which one suits you rather than which one I'd prefer to build.
Business sites include three months of support. After that, maintenance is €59–€119 a month for updates, backups, security and speed monitoring, or hosting and domain management on its own from €25 a month. You are not obliged to take either — some clients happily run their own, and I'll show you how during handover.
